This agreement
These terms are a contract between you and [TODO: registered company name, e.g. Saundarya Technologies Pvt Ltd] ("we", "us"), the operator of Saundarya AI. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Saundarya AI.
What the service does
You submit a photograph. Our systems analyse it and return a report covering face shape, skin type and tone, detected skin concerns with supporting evidence, a suggested routine, style and colour guidance, product suggestions at three budgets, and an expected timeline.
Saundarya AI provides cosmetic and lifestyle guidance. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for a dermatologist. Read the medical disclaimer before acting on any report.
Reports are generated by automated analysis. They are estimates presented with a confidence level, not statements of fact, and they can be wrong. We show confidence on every call precisely so you can weigh it.
Your account
- Give accurate registration details and keep them current
- Keep your password secret - you are responsible for activity under your account
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else
- One account per person; accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred
What you may not do
You agree not to:
- Upload a photograph of anyone who has not consented to being analysed
- Upload images of children
- Use the service to identify, track or profile another person
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our models or training data
- Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute reports without our written permission
- Interfere with the service's operation, or probe it for vulnerabilities without invitation
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Uploading another person's face without their consent is the clause we enforce most strictly. It may also break biometric-privacy law where you live.
Your photographs stay yours
You keep all rights in the photographs you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them for the sole purpose of producing your report and providing the service - nothing wider.
That licence does not include training our models. Training is a separate, explicit opt-in you control, and it is off unless you turn it on. See the privacy policy.
You confirm that you have the right to upload each image you submit, and that it depicts you or someone who has consented.
Plans and payment
The first report is free. Continued use beyond the free allowance requires a paid subscription. Current prices are shown on the pricing page and in the app before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for
- Prices may change, but never for a period you have already paid for - we will give at least 30 days' notice before a change affects you
- Payments made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by that store's billing terms as well as these
Payments are final. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends. The cancellation and refund policy sets out the position in full.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend it for maintenance, and we will try to give notice where a planned interruption is likely to matter.
We may add, change or remove features. If we withdraw a paid feature entirely and nothing equivalent replaces it, you may cancel - and because that is our change rather than yours, we will return the unused part of the period you paid for.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from inside the app.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly the acceptable-use section. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. For serious breaches - uploading other people's faces without consent, attacking the service - we may act immediately.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, the service is provided as-is. We are not liable for any skin reaction, allergic response, cost or other loss arising from acting on a report. You should patch-test products and consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your skin.
Where liability can be limited, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of [TODO: city whose courts have jurisdiction, e.g. Bengaluru] have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. If you would rather not accept, cancel before the change takes effect and you keep access until your current period ends.
